It doesn't take a moron to know what bad art looks like, but it does take a certain level of skill to make decent, presentable art.
I, of course, lack the skills to make art I consider decent and presentable, but a critic in any field doesn't necessarily have the proper ability to preform the tasks they critique (see: athletics, television, certain fields of literature). So saying that I'm bad because I critique people yet don't make any of my own is an unfair assumption. I personally believe people like me are better than the thousands of other idiots on deviantArt who comment with useless asspats and unconstructive compliments that would otherwise inflate an artist's ego to unacceptably self-absorbed levels.
Also, that insult? Real mature.
